It offers a quiet month without many updates. There are a few, however, that we don’t want to hide from you:

There are no major innovations to the software at Asana in April.

There are no special extensions for awork either.

In Confluence you will find minor simplifications for editing your wiki – maybe there is something for you?

• Page Sorting
  You can now sort and filter the order of pages (more)
• Emojis in Headings and Table of Contents
  If you include an emoji in a heading, it will now also appear in the table of contents (more).
• Quick access for editing
  Editing a page used to require several clicks. Now you can go directly to edit mode with just one click (more).

MeisterTask* improves the use for you with small enhancements:

• The “Mention” feature allows you to mention users directly within a task and thereby notify them. This feature has now been extended to checklists as well, so that tasks can be assigned directly (more).
• MeisterTask is also available for the Apple Watch. The app has now been significantly expanded, allowing you to handle your most important tasks even when you’re on the go: complete tasks, add tasks to your calendar, reschedule due dates, and add comments (more).
• The iOS app now offers expanded functionality, with the calendar feature finally available. Here, you can view and manage your personal project tasks (more).

The focus for April is on improved automation features on monday.com*. Have you ever searched for an automation rule? Now you can quickly search through all your rules (more).

• Improvements to existing integrations:

You can now export the timeline in PDF format. This gives you quick offline access to an overview of your times, optimized for printing. Email notifications are currently being rolled out, so your team members will be notified immediately when a task is assigned to them (mehr).

If you also have experience with Power Apps, the Project Accelerator will be useful to you. This tool, developed in-house by Microsoft, helps you keep track of all your projects (more).

Conclusion Project Management Software News April 2021

Things have remained comparatively quiet as of April. There are few groundbreaking innovations and rather smaller updates like MeisterTask’s redesign of the app for the Apple Watch or a newTodoist productivity widget for iOS and Android.

Microsoft continues to focus on merging various data via PowerApps to support project management as well.
